Price ranges and specials shown on this website are there to give you a realistic idea of cost. They are not a binding quote and they do not account for what we find once your vehicle is on the lift.

The number that counts is the written estimate you get at the shop before any work starts. No work happens without your approval, and if we find something else once we are into the job, we call you first.

Specials may have conditions and end dates. Where a special lists conditions, those conditions apply.

Sending a form on this site starts a conversation — it does not reserve a bay or confirm an appointment. Your appointment is confirmed when we confirm it with you directly. If your vehicle is unsafe to drive or the matter is urgent, call (530) 785-9900 rather than waiting on a form.

Only send information and photos that are yours to send. By uploading a photo of a vehicle you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to use it to diagnose and discuss the repair.

Do not send anything through this website that you need kept confidential beyond ordinary repair information. What we do with what you send is set out in our privacy policy.

NorCal Precision Auto & Electric Repair is licensed by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, license #316622. We warranty our work for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. That warranty covers the work we performed and the parts we supplied, and it is governed by the terms on your invoice.

The text, photographs, logos, and layout of this website belong to NorCal Precision Auto & Electric Repair. You are welcome to link to us and to share pages. Do not copy the content wholesale onto another site or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

Where we link out — to Google Maps, to Facebook, to a financing provider — we do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they do. Their terms and their privacy policies apply once you leave ours.

Our service pages, blog, and FAQ are general guidance written to help you understand what is going on with a vehicle. They are not a diagnosis. Every vehicle is different, and nothing on this site substitutes for having yours actually looked at. Do not rely on a web page to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive.

We keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is error-free or never down. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under California law that cannot be limited — including your rights under the Automotive Repair Act.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Shasta County, California.
